Khaled Abdo
Khaled (he/him) joins us this summer as a Middle East Research Intern. Khaled is a rising senior at Brown University working towards a BA in International and Public Affairs with a focus on climate mobilities. He has completed extensive coursework in migration, human rights and international politics and will be pursuing an honors thesis combining these areas in the fall. In addition to his studies, he has served as a coordinator for Brown Refugee Youth Tutoring and Enrichment (BRYTE), training new tutors before they're paired for one-on-one tutoring with refugee youth in the Providence area. As an aspiring lawyer, he hopes to use litigation to advance the rights of people moving in light of climate change.
